Levels of Pradosham Fasting
Pradosham fasting offers flexibility based on individual capacity and circumstances. The spiritual intention and twilight worship are more important than strict fasting.
Nirjala (Complete Fast)
Level: Complete abstinence from food and water from sunrise until after Pradosh Kaal worship.
Duration: Sunrise to sunset (approx 12 hours)
Best For: Experienced practitioners in good health
Caution: Not suitable for pregnant women, elderly, children, or those with health conditions.
Partial Fast (Recommended)
Level: Consuming only fruits, milk, and liquids during the day while avoiding grains.
Permitted:
