Pradosham Ritual Timeline
The Pradosham ritual follows a specific sequence aligned with the cosmic energies of twilight. Each step connects the devotee with Lord Shiva's divine presence.

Clean the worship area thoroughly, arrange all puja items and offerings, light the sacred lamp and incense, take final bath if not done in morning, wear clean clothes (preferably white or saffron).

Invocation (Pradosh Kaal begins)
Face east or towards Shiva temple, invoke Lord Ganesha first (Vighneshwara), call upon Lord Shiva's presence, perform Sankalpa (statement of intention), begin with basic prayers.

Pour water on Shiva Linga while chanting, follow with milk, honey, and other liquids, offer bilva leaves with each pour, recite Shiva mantras continuously, complete with final water ablution.

Present flowers, fruits, and sweets, offer sacred bilva leaves, light camphor for aarti, chant Mahamrityunjaya Mantra 108 times, perform circumambulation if possible.

Final aarti with devotional songs, seek Shiva's blessings for forgiveness, distribute prasad to all present, break fast with blessed food, express gratitude and conclude.
